Hello my friends, today I will make amazing short rib Ragu Best Dinner for Easter with 4 serving options, please enjoy and please subscribe and share Ingredients 4 lb beef short ribs 1 large onion, diced 1 carrot, diced 2 celery , diced 1 tsp each : salt and black pepper Rose Mary, 2 pay leaves, ( 1 TSP pepper steak spice blend, optional) 3 garlic gloves , minced 4 oz tomato paste about 2 TSP 4-5 cups tomato sauce 2 TSP oil 2 TSP butter 6-7 cups beef broth Steps: dry each rib with kitchen towel remove any excess fats this will make the final sauce lighter season each rib with salt and black pepper to taste in hot skillet, put the oil and butter add the ribs and brown each one all sides until they get this amazing color remove from the skillet add the diced onion and stir to collect all these delicious pits and fat from ribs cook onion for about 10 min to caramelize add the diced carrot and celery and cook for another 10 min to become translucent add garlic stir and cook for 2 min add tomato paste and stir and cook for another 2 min add tomato sauce and stir add 4-6 cups beef broth add rose Mary and all other dry species add the browned short ribs along with its juice cover and let boil for about 10 min then cook in 300 degree oven for 2hrs covered then stir and cook it for another 1 hr half covered / cracked it smells amazing now so good remove all the short ribs to a cutting board or a plate to shred it Also remove all the pay leave and rose Mary out the meat smells so good and is extremely tender and falling off bones Sauce is the most delicious sauce Also remove the part surrounding the bone it is not eatable. This is all the meat we have which is good amount enough to cover all the 4 option I want to use Put all the shredded meat back into the skillet to get the most delicious ragu Give it a stir This is the best sauce ever Serving options First option is : the traditional pappardelle pasta In a salted boiling water ( 2 tsp for each gallon of water) add the pasta and cook it until it is al dente about 8-9 min or less as it will cook for a min or so in the short rib ragu so do not over cook the pasta and drain it well If the ragu is thick you can add some pasta water or beef broth The smell is awesome, and taste is amazing Genteelly fold the pasta Pasta will grab all this delicious sauce Add some parmesan cheese and enjoy the best ragu ever with pappardelle.
