Guys! I finished reading this book called Daring Greatly by Brene Brown just last night ! I had been waiting to get my hands on her books since I stumbled upon her talks on Vulnerability, Shame, Courage & whole hearted living & her episodes on Oprah! What a read this has been! I smiled, giggled, teared up a little and at moments, paused for a while to soak in what a beautiful thought I had just read and let out a huge sigh!! I swear all my life like most others I had been raised up to believe vulnerability is weekness! Gosh you're so sensitive! Stop being so touchy about everything! Why do you have to feel so much about even the little things? This book has been a load off my chest! Such an eye opener! What revelations and what beautiful insights on the human mind and behavior! I know I'm going to live the rest of my life, not just knowing, but believing that Vulnerability is my superpower! Also among other things, the one thing that I came across through this book - The man in the arena quote by Theodore Roosevelt - from which the name of the book is inspired - is going to stick with me for life! If you guys are in the field of art or creating anything of any sort, writing, painting, acting, making music - your relation with how you view your work and how you view yourself and how you create from now on, is going to change leaps and bounds! I can assure that. I urge you guys, Please please please get a copy of this one, it's going to change your perspectives about everything in life! I'm a Brene Brown fan girl forever!
