Josh Daniels vs. Jerry Lynn - New York Wrestling Connection, May 20, 2006

New York Wrestling Connection has been going strong for over 20 years and has been a breeding ground for many of today's superstars! Matt Cardona cut his teeth in NYWC as well as Tony Nese, Trent Baretta, Brian Myers/Curt Hawkins, and Pat Buck! Throughout the mid-2000s, Jerry Lynn appeared in many indy promotions and began a retirement tour of sorts. He would end up wrestling a lot of up and coming indy talent during this time. In this match, Jerry takes on one of the best wrestlers in the world, Josh Daniels. I wrote about Josh in a prior post and praised his untapped talent. During this time of his career, Josh was wrestling all over and held championships in every promotion he was in. A true testament of his talent, every promoter hung a title belt over Josh's shoulder in an effort to legitimize their divisions. Josh has since retired from pro wrestling and has made appearances on television shows such as The Food that Built America and Titans: The Rise of Wall Street.
