Two of the 14 remaining co-defendants in Donald Trump’s historic indictment in Fulton County are set to be in court Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. for a series of scheduled hearings. Harrison Floyd is seeking to subpoena to count Fulton County’s 2020 election ballots, while Kutti’s hearing is expected to deal with her legal representation in the series of indictments brought down in August 2023 by District Attorney Fani Willis. The hearings are set before Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee, the jurist in charge of overseeing one of the most complex legal, political and social judicial cases in U.S. history. Floyd, the former head of Black Voices for Trump, has said he wants to personally recount the 528,777 ballots cast in Fulton County in an effort to show Trump actually won the election. In March, McAfee rejected a request from Floyd to have his bond reconsidered. Floyd was seeking to return to the political foray and campaign for the presumptive 2024 Republican White House nominee. Floyd’s bond conditions had been set to prohibit him from having contact with, speaking publicly about or making social media posts referring to any of his co-defendants or witnesses in the case. Last year, McAfee heard a motions request from Floyd to have terms of his bond loosened. Floyd, the only co-defendant who was actually jailed in the racketeering indictment, is also requesting his trial be moved to Coffee County.
