This time, I've got my heart and stomach set on eating the best beef nihari in Rawalpindi, but unfortunately, I'm not good at reading basic times, and quickly discover that the restaurant is closed. Truly a tragedy, but this is PAKISTAN and there is amazing food everywhere. After going for a ride on the back of a truck and exploring the streets of Pindi, I locate a Kashmiri restaurant called the Dilbar hotel, and try my first taste of incredible Kashmiri food! These flavors blew my mind! The Pakistani-Kashmiri food here was so insanely delicious! I chowed down on harissa, naan, lamb kofta meatballs, cow milk soup, and so much more!
