In this demo, we take the Asset Manager sample app and migrate it to Azure using Copilot’s predefined tasks — modernizing messaging, storage, and data access — then deploy the containerized app to Azure. You’ll see how the sample: Replaces RabbitMQ with Azure Service Bus Replaces S3 with Azure Blob Storage Moves the database to Azure Database for PostgreSQL All guided by assessments from AppCAT (App Modernization solution assessment). What you’ll learn How the Asset Manager sample is structured and why it’s great for learning migrations. Using GitHub Copilot App Modernization for Java to assess a project and apply predefined tasks (e.g., RabbitMQ → Azure Service Bus, AWS S3 → Azure Blob). Deploying the modernized app to Azure Container Apps with Azure services wired up.
