Many people have asked whether you have to use a CRT TV and camera to record, or if there's a solution to record the glitches directly back to your computer. I've finally sat down and tested out a solution for this that works WITHOUT a tv. I'm demoing it here with one laptop, but my suggestion is definitely to use two different machines to separate the source from the recording. I was having issues maintaining a consistent frame rate in my recordings when using just one laptop. This is just one example of a signal path that works; I'm sure you could add/remove parts and come to an even better solution.
