Find out more about the Super Conductor here: http://www.crazytubecircuits.com/supe... Crazy Tube Circuits over in Greece have always impressed me - especially with their flagship range of 'many classics in one' pedals. Their Constellation has 6 vintage transistor-based gain circuits in it; and the Cyclone has 4 classic phasers, giving all of them additional functionality that the originals never had. So you can have a huge array of tones on your board whilst only taking up one space....cool, eh? Today, we have a brand new offering from CTC - and this works the same magic on some legendary boost circuits from history. Would you like to have a silicon Rangemaster, Echoplex EP-3 preamp, MXR micro amp and ZVex Super Hard On all available to you? Would you like to run the Micro Amp at 18v for extra headroom, and thicken out the Rangemaster to make it more useable into a cleaner amp? But only buy one pedal and use a standard 9v input? ...yeah, you can see where this might be going! The Super Conductor houses those four legendary circuits - all selectable with the middle rotary switch. Plus, you can thicken up the Rangemaster and EP-3 circuits; AND run the Micro Amp and SHO at either 9v or 18v. Whatever you like to use you boost for - to boost loudness frequencies, act as a unity buffer, thicken up your sound, add some subtle volume, or hoof the front end of your amp into submission...the Super Conductor can do it all! What do you think? Four boosts at their best? Or not for you? Comment below! Guitar is a Fender MIJ Telecaster w/ Monty's '53 bridge and Bare Knuckle Flat '50 neck pickups. Amp is an Orange Retro 50 running into a Zilla Studio Pro 2x12 cabinet loaded with Scumback S75-PVC AlNiCo and Celestion AlNiCo Gold speakers. Recorded with Aston Spirit Condenser, '70s Sennheiser MD441 and sE RNR1 ribbon mics, with a Schoeps CMC6 room mic. 0:00 Intro 1:37 What Are The Circuits? 5:20 Fundamental Differences 6:30 RM (Rangemaster Treble Booster) 10:13 EP (Echoplex EP-3 Preamp) 12:54 MA (MXR Micro Amp) 15:37 MF (ZVex Super Hard On) 18:59 Outro jp@joeperkins.co.uk Vector images by freepik.com
