Have you ever wondered if 35mm point-and-shoots were really that different? We tried to test it out with two name-brand film cameras that both have a following; the Nikon One-Touch and the Canon Sureshot / Autoboy. Whether mined from a thrift shop or local film store, both have started to resurface as a go-to pocket camera. My camera, the Sureshot, is actually a bit nostalgic to me. My parents used to shoot with this exact camera when we were growing up. It recently resurfaced from my mom's storage and it's taken a few rolls for me to accept that my in-camera light meter might be defective. Nonetheless, a few photos still turned out. In this video, we wanted to see the nuances of both cameras, compare our shooting styles, and share a bit of our adventure around Seattle. We chose a perfect Summer day to be out and about. If you saw either camera, which one would you want to scoop up?
