This is a quick visual review of my new Schmincke Hordam watercolor set. I got this lovely friend from my very dear friend Caroline, who admires my work. Thanks to her I can enjoy painting! This is a full pan set of 12 paints. They come in a metal box that has a large mixing area (three deep dishes and several shallow ones). The colors are beautiful and vibrant and they spread nicely. It is a joy to paint with such high quality paints. The metal box also has a handy ring on the bottom, so an artist can pull his/her finger through and hold a whole palette firmly, which is excellent for an outdoor painting.
