EDIT: As pointed out by ‪@Mystic_Ode‬ in the comments, I made a few mistakes crediting Fumito Ueda for the artwork on the Ico cover, as well as the illustrations in the instruction manual. Please read their comment (pinned) for the complete information, but from what i gather, the cover art was most likely done by Nanako Ohmura (also known as Icco Sasai), and the manual illustrations were done by Michiko Ando. I apologize for the misinformation, these amazing artists deserve recognition.
