With Labor Day behind us, the countdown to the wonderful Fall blackfish, aka Tautog, season we have here in Eastern Long Island officially begins. The Long Island Sound season opens on October 11th and that will be the day of our trip. Unfortunately, since I'm docked in the NY Bight, this will be a strictly catch and release event. I'm completely sold out for the New York Bight tog season so here's your chance to fish with me and your fellow Subscribers/Members for free! The official rules are: 1.
