What can I eat after Bariatric Surgery?

One of the questions I get asked most about bariatric surgery is, "What can I eat after surgery? 🤷 And the answer is, it depends on where you are in your recovery. Your stomach goes through a lot in bariatric surgery, and you'll want to gradually ease back into a solid food diet. For the first 2 weeks, you'll be on a liquid diet 💧. For weeks 3 and 4, you'll be in soft foods phase, 🥣 where you'll be eating foods that you can eat comfortably without using your teeth. And when you're back on solid foods, you'll need to stick to a healthy diet to meet your weight loss goals and keep the weight off. You won't have to completely cut your favorite foods 🍕 out of your diet, but you'll need to practice moderation and only eat one or two bites.
