Sims 1 vs Sims 2 vs Sims 3 vs Sims 4 - DJ Booth Sims 1 In The Sims 1, a DJ Booth was introduced with The Sims: House Party. You can have a DJ Booth on any type of lot, residential or community lot. If you place the DJ Booth on a residential lot, you can simply use it as a stereo. And of course, your Sim can be the DJ. Pair it with a dance floor, and watch the magic happen. When your Sim is a DJ, they can switch to any station, and they will always put a new record. A DJ can play the next song, or scratch. If you place a DJ Booth on a community lot, it will spawn the DJ Z-Buffer which is an NPC DJ. Sims can request a the next song or another radio station. Sims 2 In The Sims 2, a DJ Booth was added in Sims 2: Nightlife. If you place the DJ Booth on a residential lot, it will generally function as a stereo. But a Sim can also be the DJ. This will build their creativity. There is also a dance floor available in The Sims 2. Sims can dance Solo, or do The Smustle. And if you have this DJ Booth that came with FreeTime, you can have dance competitions. The DJ can change the Music Style, there is, Slow, Medium, Fast and House Mix. They will always put a different record. Other Sims can also make a Request. If you place a DJ Booth on a community lot, it will spawn an NPC DJ. You can also work as a DJ on a community lot. Sims 3 In The Sims 3, a DJ Booth was added with Sims 3: Showtime. So Sims can be a DJ. At the beginning, they can play Dubstep, Funk or a random Genre. As they practice using DJ booth they will gain a hidden DJ Skill and the "Drum 'n Bass" and "Niche" genre will also be available to play. Other Sim can sometimes give them a tip. Placing a DJ Booth on a Community lot won't spawn an NPC DJ. Other Sims can dance to your tracks. Sims can request a change in music Genre, but unlike the Sims 2, the DJ won't listen to them, and wont automatically change the track. Skilled DJ's can also make it Groove and they'll also have more opportunities to perform gigs at venues. Sims 4 In The Sims 4, DJ Booths were added with The Sims 4: Get Together. Similar to Sims 3, now you have a new DJ Mixing skill. At the beginning there are no music genres to pick from, you can only practice, because your Sim is terrible at being a DJ. But as you progress, more and more music genres become available. You can even put your own custom mix. Also a lot of interactions become available. You can influence how the crowd feels. You can make them flirty, energized, confident. You can also hype them up. This will make Sims more engaged with the music and can give them moodlets. You can also create your own custom mix and then license it. Sims can upgrade their DJ Booths to prevent them from breaking and catching on fire, but also for added visual effects If you have a dance floor, you can have dance battles, but the DJ Booth is not required. Who is Your Winner?
