Jesus Lives Dear Brothers and Sisters, Jesus stated in John 10:10 that He came to give His disciples "life, and that they may have it more abundantly”. God's way of life has many advantages in this life and He promises "pleasures forevermore" in the next but that does not imply that Christian living is simple. The hardships and trials of this way of life are intended to help us develop the intellect and character of Jesus Christ. We must learn to think and act like God if we are to be His children forever and change others so that they may live blessed lives. This week we are learning about the Christian Life and that means a deep dive in one of the greatest of all books. The Bible. God gave us the Bible to teach us the greatest way to live and to provide us with examples of others from which to learn. The Bible's good and negative examples can bring what appear to be abstract truths to life. The way of God is the way of love. It is the path of peace. Living a Christian lifestyle will assist us at home, school, and work in time management and decision making, emotional control, and spiritual maturity. By practicing Christian living, we will demonstrate the ideals and love that Christ demonstrates.
