Kristen and Steph did not know what they were getting in for when they started watching this movie. What a ride! In From Dusk Til Dawn, two fugitive brothers and their hostages seek refuge in a seedy Mexican bar, only to discover it’s overrun by bloodthirsty vampires. From Dusk Till Dawn was directed by Robert Rodriguez (Sin City, Desperado, Alita: Battle Angel). The main cast includes George Clooney (Ocean’s Eleven, Michael Clayton, The Descendants) as Seth Gecko, a ruthless yet charismatic bank robber on the run. Quentin Tarantino (Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Django Unchained), who also wrote the screenplay, plays Richie Gecko, Seth’s unhinged and violent brother. Harvey Keitel (Taxi Driver, The Piano, Bad Lieutenant) stars as Jacob Fuller, a former pastor grappling with a crisis of faith, while Juliette Lewis (Natural Born Killers, Cape Fear, Kalifornia) plays his rebellious daughter, Kate Fuller. Ernest Liu (The Perfect Weapon) appears as Scott Fuller, Jacob’s teenage son. Salma Hayek (Frida, Desperado, Eternals) delivers a memorable performance as Santanico Pandemonium, a seductive vampire queen. Cheech Marin (Born in East L.A., Tin Cup, Cheech & Chong’s Up in Smoke) takes on multiple roles, including a sleazy border guard, a crude strip club barker, and a vampire gang member. Danny Trejo (Machete, Heat, Con Air) plays Razor Charlie, a tough vampire bartender, while Tom Savini (Dawn of the Dead, Creepshow, Grindhouse) appears as the iconic, whip-wielding Sex Machine. Fred Williamson (Black Caesar, Hammer, Starsky & Hutch) rounds out the cast as Frost, a seasoned and fearless bar patron. Blending crime thriller elements with over-the-top horror, the film delivers a wild, genre-bending ride.
