A perfect Frugal Travel day is to take a picnic and enjoy the glorious setting. Here you will find Kadriorg Palace. Built by Tsar Peter the Great for Catherine I. The Baroque masterpiece is now an art museum and its delightful flower garden is free to enter. The park houses other impressive buildings and museums such as Kumu and the Miiamilla museum. Also in Kadriorg Park you will find the high-tech, futuristic side of Tallinn with the driverless bus operated by TalTech University which you can ride on for free. Watch out for the robotic mowers rolling around the lawns and mowing the grass!
