This is a concept design, made with the intention of visualizing a sequel to the 2011 Sony Ericsson Gaming Phone - Xperia Play. Sony abandoned the idea of a Gaming Phone back in 2012. Mobile games and mobile gaming have both come a long way since then. Now, with much powerful hardware and (5G) high speed internet connectivity, 2021 is the perfect time for Sony to consider doing a gaming phone revival.
