My very first Iceborne speedrun! This is a very finicky run and can be improved by more than 10 seconds, however I'm currently still sick and since I'm not able to stream right now I'll at least get back into the speedrunning scene for MHW Iceborne! There are tons of points in the initial set up where the run can die. If your palico deals too much damage on the wings, they will break from the boulder and it won't have any CC. One of the bombs can possibly hit the wing and you won't get the dunk. If you are slightly too close to his head the claw uppercut will connect the wrong side of his face. My start also wasn't optimal as I first placed a tranq bomb and then performed the claw uppercut. This is the safer route as you have to get the perfect wallbang "dismount" direction to use 3 tranq bombs after the wallbang. Anyway, I should stop being too harsh on me since this is my first IB run. More soon! The set has the lowest defence possible in order to proc heroics easily while also focusing on the highest amount of raw.
