I had taken the Guide from Zalissya, to arrive at STC Malachite, in the far western side of the Zone. I went outside late in the evening, as a light storm was moving through the countryside, as I went east towards the electrical anomaly field. I switched to an artifact that gave me betteer electrical protection, and I needed it as I got zapped a couple of times before I could retrieve the Shell artifact. I heard gunfire just outside the walls, and as I went through the bubble anomaly. I immediately came under attack by Mercenaries. They were taking cover hiding behind trees and Spark did not get involved, as I returned fire with my Zubr-19. I engaged three Mercs wearing Wolfhound armor and my own armor took some hits. I went out to loot the three dead Mercs, and I could not figure out why I had heard gunfire, if the Spark were not in danger. When I went closer to the lake I found out why. I found two dead I.P.S.F. soldiers that the Mercenaries had killed. With a good load of loot, I returned to the STC Malachite main building. Inside I got my armor and weapons repaired by Semyonych, and I sold the excess weapons to Viktoria, where I bought some more ammo from her and then sought the services of Needles to Medic. I went back outside to the north, where I turned on my night vision and met the Spark group by the railroad bridge. I went west of them, to the large grassy fields, where I ran into some night Bandits. After killing and looting them, I returned to STC Malachite. Once again, I had to see the Medic. Game Note:
