After postdoctoral studies with Dr. Ronald Davis in Stanford's Biochemistry Department, he left in 2001 to cofound ParAllele BioScience, which was acquired by Affymetrix in 2005. Dr. Karlin-Neumann joined QuantaLife in 2010.
