Hello neighbor, this is Curt with etrailer and today we're taking a look at the custom install kit for DeeZee Rough Step Running Boards. So there could be a few reasons why you would need a custom install kit for your running boards. One might be that you we inchesre able to purchase the running boards off of somebody off of a different truck or vehicle and you just don't have the correct mounting brackets to go on your particular truck or SUV. Another reason could be that, you know, they got damaged some way. Maybe the weight capacity got overloaded and they bent, maybe you ran over something like a branch or something like that and they got damage from underneath or maybe after a lot of wear and tear, any kind of road debris, gravel roads, things like that, rocks from the road kick up and they scratch and nick these and expose the steel underneath the black powder coat, maybe some rust started or something like that. All of those are good reasons why you might need some replacement brackets like this. Now these are custom kits, so make sure that you use the Fit Guide on our website, put in the year, make and model of your vehicle. And if necessary, if you have a truck, make sure you put the proper cab size in as well. The kits are going to include any of the brackets necessary and the mounting plates that go underneath your board as well as all of the necessary hardware.
