Landing in Seychelles Twin Otter Aircraft Grass Runway D'Arros Island

Approach to and landing on the grass runway of beautiful D'Arros Island in Seychelles with the Twin Otter DHC-6. I am the First Officer and the pilot flying on this leg. The weather is beautiful with light cumulus clouds as we approach D'Arros Island from the northeast. These are the last few minutes of the approximately 150 nautical mile journey from Mahé Island to D'Arros Island when I was still a junior Twin Otter First Officer in 2013. Lying about 150 miles southwest of Mahé, this island was once the private island of Prince Pahlavi of Iran, and then later the French billionaire Liliane Bettencourt (one of the principal shareholders of L'Oréal; as of 2016, she was the top female billionaire in the world, and was also the richest person in France). We fly clockwise around the Saint Joseph Atoll before entering a right downwind to RUNWAY 16. The wind is straight down the runway, making for a relatively smooth approach and touchdown on D'Arros.
