Ideally, I'd love to topdress my lawn with bulk compost because its by far the cheaper option for larger areas. I was quoted $225 for 4 yards delivered, however, I decided to go another route and now I found some areas I want to try some compost and manure which is nutrient dense for topdressing. Going with a few bags is definitely a doable option, which is what I've done here. I'm always curious to know the differences between certain brands and compare pricing, value, ingredients, etc. While researching big box store options, I always seem to compare Home Depot vs Ace because they are the closest options to me, Menards is a choice too but they didn't seem to have something super comparable at the time. I've had luck with Ace brand topsoil and I figured I'd try this as it has good reviews as well. It's super easy to identify the differences with this soil even though the label shows very similar ingredients. #lawncaretips #productreview
