Previously unseen footage of the 21st Festival of Transport in Hengrove Park, Bristol, filmed in August 1995. This warm, nostalgic home movie captures the arrival of beautifully preserved vintage buses, all gathering for a summer bus rally in Bristol. You’ll spot a younger me in the crowd, as well as my grandpa, who first inspired our family’s love of filmmaking with his 1960s cine footage of the South West of England (you can watch those films here on my channel). Some of these very same buses are still running today — I saw them again at the 2025 Bristol bus rally, 30 years later!
