Just how AMAZING and ROMANTIC is this marry me sign proposal "in the clouds"? John, wanted the wow factor for his girlfriend, Xio, but wasn't sure how to achieve it. He wanted something that hadn't been done before in London to show how much she meant to him. We had one place in mind, and that was Shangri-la at The Shard. For it's romantic space and unrivalled views of the city of London.⁣ We came up with the idea of a proposal in the clouds, playing on the theme that The Shard is perfect for romance high in the sky. We asked our favourite balloon company, ‪@bubblegumballoons3110‬ to supply the amazing balloons for this proposal. They created the epic clouds to sit as the backdrop for the proposal, as well as a decorated hot air balloon to represent their love in the clouds.⁣ The whole room was decorated with white decorations to match the elegant feel of the clouds, with white petals, candles and a majestic Marry Me sign placed in the Shangri-la room.⁣ We chose the Ren Ballroom in the Shangri-la as the perfect location for this romantic proposal, as it's the best room in the house with the most impressive views of London, overlooking Tower Bridge and the River Thames⁣. Once we had finished decorating the room, Xio arrived in a ‪@McLaren‬ and thought she was meeting John at the hotel for a romantic dinner for two. ⁣Once she arrived, she was helped out of the sports car and taken to her surprise.⁣ As they opened the double doors to the ballroom, a harpist began to play All of Me by John Legend and serenaded the couple throughout.⁣ John whisked the shocked Xio into the room, collected his ring from the hot air balloon, and popped the question in front of the Marry Me sign.⁣ Once the yes and initial surprise was out of the way, the couple sat down for a private dinner and stayed in their room overnight⁣.
