** video edit: I mention in the video that the book ‘No Period Now What’ recommends that you eat 3000 calories per day, when in fact the highest amount that’s recommend in the book is actually only around 2600! The 3000 calorie recommendation, however can be found elsewhere from other Hypothalamic Amenorrhea forums and information I found online back when I was still in recovery. That just shows you that are so many numbers thrown around out there that tell you how much you “should” be eating to get your period back, when it really is more personal than a set number!! Hey pals! In this video I'm diving into an issue that's become more common in today's world with women being more active in the gym, getting into bodybuilding and doing high intensity weight lifting and training. With added stressors in our daily lives its no wonder why hypothalamic amenorrhea has become more common in the 21st century. In this video I'm covering a bit about my experience with hypothalamic amenorrhea, and the daily habits that allowed me to cure myself without giving up my love for the gym. I'll talk about activity levels, supplements and more to help get you headed in the right direction and on your way to having a regular cycle! If you're interested in becoming the healthiest version of yourself, you've come to the right place! If you have been training for body building and take any sort of performance enhancing substances, these will most definitely affect your hormones and can affect your natural cycle as well. #hypothalamicamenorrhea #hormonalimbalance #hormoneimbalance #hormonebalance #hormonehealth
