Fetal Echogenic Cardiac Focus || Ultrasound || Anomaly || Case 158 Clinical Features: A young married female patient came for a routine 3rd-trimester obstetric ultrasound scan. Ultrasound Features: A small bright echogenic less than 3mm dot is noted at the level of the tricuspid valve. Normal rests of the fetal organs. Remember: Always compare the echogenicity with adjacent bone to avoid overdiagnosis. The echogenic cardiac focus should be as bright as bone. Echogenic cardiac focus may be found in isolated cases or in trisomy 21 & 13. Multiple & bilateral echogenic cardiac foci have a high association with aneuploidy. Thank you for watching.
