Chimpanzee Eden redevelopment - Creating a new chimpanzee environment at Twycross Zoo

After spending a long time planning a large build, and then days working on it, the reward for us is seeing the animals use it, or in some cases, ignore it. No matter the response, it's what makes the hard work, aching bodies and sometimes sleepless nights worth it. Seeing the reveal of the Chimpanzee Eden habitat that we spent seven days working on was an amazing moment, and then to see the three boys check it all out was even better. The habitat features large climbing structures, resting areas, plenty of visual barriers, rope ladders, dynamic roping and a pulley feeder. We have since revamped the second habitat in a different way, which we'll cover in another video.
