Integrating patient reported outcomes data - real time information for research and clinical care

Dame Cicely Saunders International Seminar by Dr Amy Abernethy, Director of Center for Learning Health Care, Director of Duke Cancer Care Research Program, Duke University, North Carolina In this seminar Dr Abernethy will discuss how to implement the collection of "research quality" clinical data in palliative care using mobile health technologies. Drawing on her extensive experience of research in this area, Dr Abernethy will consider how to integrate the requirements of patients, clinicians and researchers in the collection of patient reported outcome data to facilitate efficient, cost-effective and patient-centred care. Dr Abernethy will also offer guidance for researchers working in this area and highlighting areas for future research.
