LOOKING TO GIVE AWAY YOUR HARD, COLD, CASH???​ Hey everyone, It’s us, Unattended Baggage. Sorry, it’s been a while, but we’re here now. We missed everyone! We’ve had a lot of tough questions to answer this year, like, what’s the point of trying to make live events happen during a pandemic? What kind of content feels appropriate for these dismal times? What are we offering that Hulu, Amazon, and Netflix can’t? Then, it dawned on us: a season of low-stakes comedy. ​That’s right. We want to lift you up in these incredibly sh*tty times through a series of small but mighty projects. Plus, we've decided to expand our mission outside of just live theatre/events, and have decided to venture out into hybrid media, TV, and film. We believe better times are on the horizon, and in the meantime, we want to you enjoy yourself and laugh—and we have three really exciting projects coming up in all different mediums. We already produced a live comedy event to benefit the Indie Theatre Fund, the SPOOKY FRIDAY THE 13TH COMEDY SHOW, and these other projects? Well... They’re all gonna be really, really funny. But we need to raise at least $8,928.00 to make it happen. You can learn more about them on the Upcoming page, but to save you some time:​ -A short film about pigeon safety set in 1980 called PROTECT THE PIGEONS FROM EATING USED CONDOMS by Emma Howard and Sean Pollock. Directed/Executive Produced/Production Design by Sean Pollock, Produced by Ira Gamerman and Niara Sena. Music by Ira Gamerman (filming Fall 2021, release TBD 2022). -A workshop of a new play about an agoraphobic comic nerd called COWL GIRL by Anna Capunay. Directed by Sean Pollock. Technically the play has been done before, but we're making some cool new changes to it. Whatever, it's new enough (workshop production: January 2022). -And a play told through letters, delivered right to your home through the mail in the style of fan fiction called THE LOVE LETTERS by Austin Bowers (of Nathan For You on Comedy Central). Produced, Designed, and Curated by Sean Pollock (all three plays coming to your mailbox by Valentine’s Day, 2022). -a SURPRISE WEB SERIES PILOT by Sean Pollock (more info to come!) Your money will first and foremost go to paying our artists. During this difficult time where our government has provided $0 to Arts Workers, your donations will go directly into the pockets of artists first.​ After our artists are paid out, we will be using any further donations to: pay our interns pay for props, set, costumes and supplies for each of our projects pay for our website pay promotional ads on social media for each of our projects Help us get the funny out there.
