I played TWO mistakes in the last bar: MISTAKE 1 being the very last right hand chord, which should still have contained the Cx (double sharp) instead of the C# which I played. Thanks for watching and good luck with your exam preparations! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The Chinese pianist and composer Ni Hongjin studied piano at the Shanghai Conservatory and, in 1954-9, at the Moscow Conservatory in Russia. After returning to China, She taught at the Central conservatory of Music, the School of Military Arts and the Chinese Academy of Music. Composed in 1979, the suite from which 'Cradle song' is taken gives a musical account of the village life of the Zhuang people, who live mainly in the Guangxi Zhuang region of southern China.
