Calgary Wranglers Opening Video & Introductions | Abbotsford Canucks Game - December 29th, 2023

For the second straight night both the Calgary Wranglers and Abbotsford Canucks faced off against each other during the 2023-24 AHL Regular Season. For said second straight night I took in the game but sst on the other side of the rink facing the players bench where the previous game faced the penalty boxes. What you would notice that the Calgary Wranglers we're wearing special retro inspired jerseys that date back to when Calgary had a Western Hockey League team called the Wranglers. Look similar to what the Calgary Wranglers WHL team wore back in 1981 when Mike Vernon was the goaltender then. Appropriate given that Dustin Wolf is now the goaltender back stopping the Calgary Wranglers who is pegged as the NHL top goaltender prospect for the Calgary Flames.
