Greetings to all, This video is an explainer and demo video of our final year capstone project for the academic year, 2021-22, at the Electrical & Electronics Engg. Dept. of PES University. This research project presents a semi-autonomous robotic wheelchair that is designed to move automatically and follow the line. Our wheelchair in autonomous mode will detect any coloured track between black and dark greyish colors over a light contrasting background. The wheelchair can effortlessly support an individual weighing 80kg and can reach upto a safe speed of 4kph. The system also has web-control mode with video streaming and manual mode. It also supports voice commands. This project was developed to help the elderly and disabled to commute independently in interior spaces, without having the need to constantly manoeuvre the conventional electric or manual wheelchair. The system makes use of Raspberry Pi to Arduino Uno to Sabertooth Motor Controller Architecture, using UART protocols. Kindly, request you to like, share and subscribe for more such engineering projects. Sincere apologies for some low resolution clips used in the making of this film and please ignore any typos, if any. Thank you for tuning in. #autonomouswheelchair #Linefollowerrobots #Industriallinefollowers #Computervision #Objectdetection #Voicecontrol #opencv #raspberrypi #arduinouno #sabertoothmotorcontroller #python #tkinter #capstone #finalyearproject #engineering #electrical #electronics #pesuniversity #pes #flaskserver #flask #googlewebspeechapi #apachewebserver #apache #smartwheelchair
