Lighting Design and Technology: Behind the Scenes of Moveable Feast

"Moveable Feast: Illuminate" was an unforgettable celebration that lit up the University of Cincinnati's CCM Village from top to bottom on Friday, Jan. 23, 2026. Hosted by CCMpower, the fundraising gala raised more than $140,000 for student scholarships. Keeping with the event's "Illuminate" theme, the evening's musical performances featured incredible lighting design by CCM students and faculty. This video presents a behind-the-scenes look at the work of CCM faculty member Kevin Lawson and students Hayden Valkema, Isaac Ludlam, Jacob Kaplan, Lucas Inman, Billy Blank, Will Everson, Flynn Wilson, Rob Chalk and Ryan Buckly. Moveable Feast raised vital funds for student scholarships while honoring honorary chairs Patti Myers and Alan Flaherty, and alumni guest of honor Scott Coulter, whose support helped make the night truly shine.
