Just after 5:30pm on Thursday, a Government spokesperson stated that “a Ministry spokesperson advised the Minister that he should not continue in an environment where basic standards of professionalism and respect were not upheld and further stated the apology from the BTOA was well warranted. The level of disrespect shown by the BTOA was improper.” “Subsequently, formal correspondence was sent to the BTOA from the Ministry on 8th Oct 2025, inviting them to move the matter forward appropriately.
