In this video, I’ll review a new suit commission from the Bangkok tailor Perfect Tailor BKK. I first reviewed Perfect Tailor BKK last year, when they were offering 24-hour suits from a cosy, nondescript shopfront in MBK Center. Since then, the brand has levelled up exponentially, relocating to a spacious two-storey boutique along the bustling Sukhumvit Road. During my most recent trip to Bangkok, I made it a point to visit their spanking-new storefront—here’s how the experience unfolded. With its move to a new showroom, Perfect Tailor BKK has clearly elevated its offerings. A significantly expanded fabric selection and the introduction of a basted fitting process mark its evolution into a proper tailoring house—complete with the experience to match. I was thoroughly impressed with the fit and cut of my new charcoal birdseye double-breasted suit; it carries the appearance of something far more expensive than its actual price tag suggests. This is a suit I would be proud to wear to any formal occasion—a marked departure from the previous ultra-affordable 24-hour suit I made while they were still based at MBK Centre.
