HELLO and WELCOME back to another episode of SHOP TALK! In this video, I run through how I set up a level wind reel with leadcore line for Great Lakes trout and salmon. For this example, I'm spooling up a "3 color" for Coho Salmon and trout - for larger sections of leadcore (5 color to 10 color), larger sized reels and more main line is needed. ADDITIONALLY - this process is very similar for setting up a leadcore reel for flat-line trolling walleyes.
