In this video I show all the steps to build a 10'x16' floating dock. For this build I used floats from Dock Edge, I also used hardware from Dock Edge. If you want to use the same floats and hardware you should be able to purchase them from your local hardware store or home depot. For lumber everything I used was pressure treated, the joists were 2x6s and the deck boards were 1" thick boards which are called 5/4. This dock took 2 days to build start to finish and is fairly simple/ requires minimal tools. If you were to buy a dock this same size it would cost roughly 7-10K.
