In this video, I break down my first session with the Wavefinder Wavetable Oscillator and explore how it compares to the classic Harvestman Piston Honda Eurorack module. I start with a few foundational rhythmic arp patches, similar to the techniques I was using when I first got into modular synthesis over 15 years ago. Simple ideas, but still powerful. That raw approach always leads somewhere interesting. After building 3 evolving arp patches, I take things further and show how I use the arpeggiator as a rhythmic engine pushing it into glitch territory to create off-grid beats, abstract sequences, and machine-like groove structures. This is less about presets and more about process, how small modulation choices, timing shifts, and wavetable movement can turn something simple into something alive.
