In this video, Jenny reviews the 2019 Mazda6 Wagon in the Touring trim. There are only some very minor additions to the latest Mazda6 that help keep it relevant and a viable medium car option in the Australian market. This lower-trim Mazda6 has a naturally aspirated 2.5 L SkyActiv-G engine with 140 kW of power and 252 Nm of torque. It has cylinder deactivation and officially consumes 7 litres per 100 km and it is paired with a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The naturally aspirated engine is offered in the Sport and Touring Mazda 6 trim levels, while the top two trims like the GT get a 2.5 turbo which has 170 kW of power and 420 Nm of torque. The main additions for the new Mazda 6 include the G-Vectoring Plus, tyre pressure monitoring as standard, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an improved FM radio sound due to an additional antenna that improves reception. 2019 prices for the Mazda6 wagon start at $35,790 for the sport and work their way up to just over $51k for the top Atenza with that turbo engine.
