This is the first episode in our Fly Fishing Montana series. I'm in Montana for the next few weeks and I'll be fishing and filming mostly up in the northeastern part of the state. This has been a bucket list trip for me and I've wanted to come here ever since watching A River Runs Through It when I was a kid. In this video, I head to some local waters, less than 20 minutes from where I'm staying to get used to my gear. To my surprise, I tie into a beautiful cutthroat at the end of the morning.
