In this portion of the correctional facility we found a decaying hospital wing with staff washrooms as well as a large kitchen. This portion of the prison was partially powered as it linked directly to a Patrol Zone where security is tasked with regular patrols. We ventured into this patrol zone from the safety of the "Do Not Patrol Zone" to find an educational wing that linked up to several cell blocks which we partially explore in this video. to see more of them watch our first Abandoned Prison video. This Penitentiary closed in the early 2000's housing its first inmates in 1910. After nearly 100 years of operation dwindling funds for renovations to keep it to code were inevitably the demise of this correctional facility. Inmates were shipped of to a new super penitentiary that was built just years before only a few hours away.
