You can make this dairy free by subbing in Earth's Balance vegan butter (that's what I do) - it tastes just as good! If you make this banana nut bread, share it on instagram with the hashtag #hollyhomebody so we can all see! 🍌 WRITTEN RECIPE 🍌 screenshot it on instagram (go to the "recipes" highlight): / holly.homebody 2 very ripe bananas 1/3 cup melted butter (I use Earth's Balance vegan butter to make this dairy-free) 1 tsp. baking soda pinch of salt 3/4 cup sugar 1 egg, beaten 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1 1/2 cups flour 1/2 - 1 cup chopped walnuts (optional) turbinado sugar (optional) Preheat oven to 350 and butter a 4x8 loaf pan. Mash bananas with a fork until completely smooth. Stir in melted butter. Mix in baking soda + salt. Stir in sugar, egg, vanilla extract. Mix in the flour. Add walnuts. Pour batter into pan.
