In this video I drag my friend Ishaq on a winter mountaineering skills course in Aviemore, Scotland. I've been wanting to hit the mountains in winter for some time now, but I've been a bit on the edge about what it would be like to try and summit anything serious in the winter. So this year, I booked a place on a winter mountaineering skills course and went up to Scotland. I thought it would be one of those situations where it's like being in a classroom on the mountain and you jsut play around a bit.... turns out we might have underestimated what our instructor had in store for us.
