Wraithguard are Eldar whose spirits are saved from death itself and rise once again to wage war for their kin. Some close combat Wraithguard are known as Wraithblades. The Wraithguard are one of the most formidable constructs in the Warhammer 40k universe, and they embody the essence of the Aeldari race. The Aeldari, known for their advanced technology and psychic powers, created the Wraithguard as a last resort measure to combat the rising threats in the galaxy. The Wraithguard are towering constructs made of the psychic wraithbone material, which also imbues them with an unmatched resilience against damage. The Wraithguard's powerful weaponry, including the Wraithcannons and D-scythes, can obliterate entire squads of enemies with ease. The Wraithguard are often deployed in groups of 5-10, serving as the heavy support for larger Aeldari forces or fulfilling specialized roles such as tomb guardians or craftworld protectors. The Wraithguard's reputation as unbreakable warriors is well-deserved, and they are feared and respected by enemies of the Aeldari race. In summary, the Wraithguard are an iconic symbol of the Aeldari race's power and resilience, and their unmatched durability and firepower make them one of the deadliest constructs in the Warhammer 40k universe.
