Our raised beds are under attack in this episode of Sprout & Sip 🐜 — ants have moved in, and it’s time to do something about it. In this video, you’ll see me attempting to get rid of ants using natural methods — cornstarch and cinnamon sticks — to test what works. Then, we move on to cleaning up the garden area by removing excess cardboard (to prevent bugs from nesting), weed-eating the overgrown grass, and starting some companion planting around the raised beds. 🧪 There’s even a moment where I mix a DIY bug powder... but let’s just say it didn’t work out (lol – all trial and error here)! Ultimately, you’ll see a brief clip of how I utilize the Nagual Electric Kitchen Composter to transform food scraps into homemade compost. I don’t share my full thoughts on it in this video, but I’ll discuss it further in a future review. I’ve also decided to make a separate video soon, diving deeper into companion planting and how I plan out plant pairings. 🌱 Let me know in the comments if you’ve tried any natural ways to deal with ants or keep pests out of your garden! I’d love to learn what’s worked (or not) for you. ✨ Don’t forget to subscribe for more real gardening experiments, plant care tips, and sustainable living content!
