After enjoying the picturesque Hyeopjae Beach with Jeju Pork Barbecue during the day, made it back to the airport before sunset for planespotting. From the coast line, there is a road leading up to a mound, giving a panoramic view of the whole airport. Unfortunately, the traffic direction switched to eastbound takeoffs. Ironically, the traffic switched back to westbound departures after dusk. I was really hoping for some nice line up views from there, but I was still happy with the footage I collected. This airport is famous for being part of the world's busiest airline route, which links it with the bustling capital city of Seoul! More than 110 flights serve this route, besides of dozens other flights to Korean cities and also to nearby countries. Due to the high demand, this airport not only sees medium-sized aircraft, but also several widebodies, namely Korean and Asiana A330s and JIN Air Boeing 777s. The Jin Air trippie was actually a surprise as the booking platform only showed Boeing 737 flights at the time I was planning my daytrip.
