Part 4, Last of the series. The amp is assembled & wired. After this initial test, I let it play for hours monitoring the bias voltage, ensuring no drift or other events. The ST-70 is stable, ready for its new home. I found it odd that the serial number was only printed on the manual. You would think it would also be on the chassis somewhere? So, I made sure to install a serial number decal inside of the chassis since there was no stamping. Also, a shop build decal was installed inside for future reference. It was a great project. Neat to build a kit from the mid 70's in the year 2025. NOTE: I understand the bias requirement. For initial testing, I deliberately run the tubes at lower current.
