Designer and artist Johannes Offerhaus used Spectra, the innovative and ultra-durable fabric technology used in The North Face HKe collection to create a sculpture that shifts the boundaries of how art interacts with the natural world. Equipped with a custom-built pack, he and his team hiked in all the materials for the structure’s build. Once installed, the sculpture’s intent was to explore how the material interacts with the elements—and provide protection for the team.
